We first met the Wallis’ (now Auntie Jacks and Uncle Pete) when Lucinda took on the ride of their lovely little chestnut gelding Rumpy Pumpy. This was in 1999 and Rumpy went up the grades finishing 1st at Brightling Adv. and 3rd at Blenheim in 2000. Rumpy was sold at the age of 14 to a junior in Sweden to take to the European Championships. Jackei and Peter owned 3 other full brothers: Hanky Panky, Roly Poly and Hunky Dory – all of which we produced and sold.
More recently Pete and Jackie have become part owners in the hugely talented Walterstown Don. They have always been great supporters of ours, helping out and cheering on the team even when they didn’t have a horse with us – they’ll always be Ellie’s favourite owners for sure!
