Nikki is the owner of Clayton’s ride Brookleigh – known as ‘Tadpole’ – who was placed 10th at his first 3* in the 8/9 year old class at Blenheim this year.
“I was born in Jersey Channel Islands and settled in Western Australia in 1988 with two young sons. I have worked with property development, investment and business management for the past 18 years.
I had the opportunity to developed ‘Brookleigh’ which is a 100 acre equestrian property on the banks of the Swan River in the famous wine region of the Swan Valley, Western Australia which comprises of a state of the art equestrian centre, a la carte restaurant, luxury boutique accommodation and a bunkhouse, vineyard and farm. The website is worth a look www.brookleigh.com.au
My inborn passion for horses & prime real estate lead to the development of Brookleigh which in turn created a lifestyle that I love and this is how & where I met Clayton. I am proud to be able to support Western Australia’s top eventer’s and give back to the sport I get so much enjoyment out of.”
Says Lucinda: “Nikki has worked hard to turn her property “Brookleigh” into the successful business it is today. Nikki is great, her sound business mind, easy-going personality, and love for horses makes her a perfect owner to have on the team. Even though she is based in Oz, she finds time to support Tadpole including in 2010 with his double-clear and 10th placing at Blenheim.”
