John and Elizabeth became owners in 2001 when they lived in Oxfordshire before moving to France (writes Lucinda). I rode one of their advanced horses, Absolute Novelty, at Luhmulen and Burghley finishing with minor placings. Clayton rode On Parole successfully at Saumur and Burghley. Both horses are happily retired with the Allsops at their beautiful home in France. In July 2009 the pretty grey mare Nysa de Petra arrived and now has a very special place on our team.
Although we don’t get to see them at all the events, when John and Elizabeth can make it we enjoy good drinks, excellent wine and great company!
