George Hills
“I came to the Fredericks’ yard during my gap year after my A levels as I wanted to improve my riding skills, bringing with me ‘Vodka’ my Russian horse who I have competed at pre-novice level, but want to progress further .
I contacted the Fredericks because my dressage is diabolical and I know Clayton and Lucinda were the best team to get me into shape. I am a keen member of both the Cattistock Hunt and Pony Club.If anyone wishes to contact me, please see my email address below: Hills.George@bryanston.co.uk”
George has since left Team Fredericks.

Sophie worked at Rosegarth between September and December 2008 and has fond memories of her time at Team Fredericks. (see Sophie Paddock’s blog)
“I decided to follow my dream of working at an event yard, and this is one of the best. As a working pupil, I was trained by both Clayton and Lucinda on a regular basis and was really pleased to be working with some of the top horses in eventing.” she told us.
Sophie keeps in touch with Clayton, Lucinda and the rest of the team and often meets up with them at events. She got the 2010 season off to a terrific start by winning the Open Novice at Tweseldown, Hampshire in March and finished 17th in the CCI** at Weston Park International, both on her ride, Claire Hodson’s Western Lark, a horse that reminds Lucinda of Headley Britannia!
