Some success stories with horses sold

Marilyn Little-Meredith (pictured right) won the CIC2* at Red Hills Horse Trials in Tallahassee, Florida recently on RF Smoke on the Water, a horse bought from Team Fredericks in June 2011.

A double clear round for RF Smoke on the Water ensured that the grey 7 year old Wurttemburg gelding (Samos x Zuchtbuch Rapaula – Rapaulo) now owned by Raylyn Farms, Inc. & Michael & Pheobe Manders maintained his overnight lead to finish on 49.4.

Marilyn summed up the weekend full of praise for ‘Smoke’s’ impressive performance: “What a rising star. Even at seven, his maturity and focus allows him to step into his first 2* and perform a test with new movements so beautifully. He was as slick as could be in the cross country, such a pleasure to train, and an honor to perform with”.

Horse required for the riding school at Team Fredericks

A safe and sensible horse is needed on loan for riding school at TeamFredericks. It must be 14.2hh-16hh , a confidence giver, but most of all must be ‘bomb proof ‘in all circumstances!
The horse will be looked after and receive a small amount of training by one of Team Fredericks grooms. All shoeing and livery bills will be covered.

Mr Miller 2

Mr. Miller 2 (Smokey) is a stunning looking 11yr, 16.1hh, German bred, grey gelding owned currently by Mrs. Emily Oppenheimer.

He’s a genuine and safe horse and a superb jumper, with 111 BE points. Smokey with Lucinda aboard was first in the Open Intermediate at Tweseldown earlier this season and took fourth place in the AI at Aldon in March.

This time last year Smokey, again with Lucinda, took first place in the Open Novice at Withington Manor and in 2009, ridden by Clayton Smokey was first in the two-star competition at Barocca, Portugal.

Sorrento

Sorrento (Ronnie), is a 17hh, 7 year-old Hannoverian dark bay gelding who, before coming to the UK, competed in Dressage and showjumping in Germany. He gave an outstanding performance to win the CCI* at Barocca, Portugal in March 2012 – see full story.

Ronnie is a stunning horse with big paces, a superb jump and lovely temperament who’s ready to go up-the-grades very quickly.

Ronnie is for sale (POA), although due to the huge potential that Clayton sees in him we would ideally love to find him owners (based on standard full ‘Competition Livery’ fees) to keep him with Team Fredericks and therefore be able to keep the ride. Ronnie can be owned either individually or on a syndicate basis with several owners involved.

Ronnie and Clayton took first place in the CCI one-star event at Barocca, Portugal on March 11, beating Marcelo Tosi and Vincent Martens – a turnaround from the CIC* the previous weekend, where he came in fourth just behind them. Ronnie is for sale, though Team Fredericks would ideally love to find him competition livery owners so he can stay at Rosegarth, as he has great potential.
