Exciting Lease Opportunity: Be My Guest (3rd Burghley 2010)
A lease opportunity has arisen with the mare ‘Be My Guest’ (Lottie) for the 2011 season and possibly 2012. With several lease options available, Team Fredericks are looking for a new lessee/s to take on the mare, either on a whole- or part-owned basis. This is a great opportunity for someone, or several people, to get involved with an established event horse, without having to purchase a horse long-term. Lottie is already on the Australian Elite Squad, with Clayton (qualified for 2012 London Olympics).
Lottie is a 16.2hh, 13 year-old TB mare bred in Germany (by Baba Karam). A very un-marish mare who has the will to do well in whatever you ask of her. Her performance at Burghley in 2010 (3rd) was pure guts and determination on her part, and was also a credit to the trusting relationship that Clayton and she built in the 6 months prior. To kick-off the season, Lottie will compete at Vale Sabrosa 2* CIC , Barocca 3* and Kentucky.
The mare is owned by Simone Bockmann in Germany but will continue to be ridden by Clayton until she retires (when she will most likely return to Germany for a quieter life and to be bred from).
