Clayton saw Charlie in Germany and loved him straight away. Striking looking, super moving and has a classic jumping technique.Charlie has been trained and competed up to high-level dressage and showjumping and Clayton felt he had all the makings of a top-level event horse. Charlie took to XC like he’s been doing it all his life and to watch he certainly has the wow factor. Charlie is another really exciting horse, and with the support of the McAuley’s we are positive he has a very exciting career ahead of him.

Clayton bought Bendigo III from Germany to replace Nullabor, the horse he sadly lost at Saumur in 2008. 2009 was the 10-year-old gelding’s first season eventing, although he had done a little dressage and show jumping before.
