Rosie is a home-bred mare whose grandmother was an Irish x Connemara hunter belonging to Tim, and her mother, who is also a good hunter was by Stanhope’s Diddicoy.

She has been with Clayton since she was a five year old and Tim hunted and field mastered off her as a 5 and 6 year old but she has since been too precious to hit the hunting field!

2011 was a sensational year to remember for Rosie and all her connections. 5th at  Luhmühlen in her first 4* in June finishing on her dressage score, 9th at Pau 4* in October again clear within the time cross-country and winning the Haras du Pin 3* CIC World Cup Qualifier in a very exciting finale. It is no surprise then that she has been put on the Equestrian Australia Elite Squad ahead of the 2012 Olympics, as she has proved herself to be “Little Miss Consistent” time and time again in all three disciplines of 3 day eventing. Rosie is a star in the ascendant.

Rosie recently had an embryo transfer foal, pictured here, by Jaguar Mail, who also sired two foals with Headley Brittania. This little fellow is Dunges Don Perignon , and he has a bright future ahead of him.
