Walter’s a lovely, strong, powerful mover with huge scope and a tremendous gallop. Walter’s previous owner was Diarmuid O’Brien who sent himself and Walter to ‘boot camp’ with Team Fredericks, in order to prepare themselves for 1*. Lucinda took on the pair and they went from doing their first Nov. together to clear at Arville 2* in 4 months, thought due to Diarmuid’s busy flying schedule he found it difficult to compete seriously and so decided to sell Walter to Michael Lee and the Wallis’. Lucinda worked with Walter for 4 months last winter before suggesting that in fact he could be a suitable 2012 prospect. Walter is now Clayton’s ride and he certainly a man’s horse! He’s bold, powerful, handsome and one of the youngest competitors on the scene at his level.
