March
Balancing with the Balance and Hold position
1. Balance hold position – basic core strength
2. Balance hold extensions – learning back and extending legs
3. Balance hold independent leg lifts – straighten one leg, then lift, lower and recoil – then perform alternate side

February
Inbalances and the exercises for better balancing
1.  Sitting on ball, lifting one foot off floor. One side should feel easier – this identifies the stronger and weaker leg.
2.   Sitting on ball, feet off ball, using pelvis to maintain balance on ball.
3.   The hands on hip again using pelvic tilts to adjust posture on ball.

January

Identifying the pelvis position
1. Whilst standing, using the pelvic tilt, put the pelvis through in range of movement forward and back.
2. Lying on back, knees bent, slide fingers under lower back to identify the neutral position – ideally fingers should just meet with no movement up or down between spine and floor.
3. Sitting on chair, identifying seat bones pointing directly down, again going through pelvic tilts.

December
This month Clayton introduces Jon, and shows the first balance tip.
