Blenheim International Horse Trials

 

 

Clayton had an unlucky experience at Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials in Mid-September. Riding the eight-year-old gelding Mr Miller 2, he was eliminated after missing jump nine in the CIC3* Show Jumping phase. Prior to this Clayton and Mr Miller 2 were joint 11th in dressage with a penalty mark of 51.7.

Alltech FEI European Jumping & Dressage Championships Eventing Grand Prix

Clayton and Lucinda both attended the Alltech FEI European Jumping & Dressage Championships Eventing Grand Prix at Windsor Castle. Lucinda and Headley Britannia (Brit) had an amazing round and was the only contestant to produce a clear round. Lucinda and Brit took the lead for some time although they finished in second place.

Clayton drew the short straw and went first out of the 10 riders, having only minutes to learn the course. Bendigo III performed magnificently with only one pole down and took sixth place.

HSBC World Cup TM Eventing Final 2009

Sunday 23 Aug - Final Results: Clayton stayed in 3rd place through-out the whole event. Unfortunately, during Show Jumping Ben Along Time clipped the 6th fence for 4 faults keeping them in 3rd place.

Final Day
Show Jumping today was tough on on three of our young horses! Brookleigh had 16 faults, Mr Miller 2 had 9 faults and Jiggalong had 8 faults.

SAUMUR CCI*** - Clayton and Poilu Finish 10th

Poilu completed Samur CCI *** in 10th position and helped the AUSTRALIAN TEAM place 2nd. With a large crowd watching at the final jumping stage Poilu seemed slightly distracted and possibly could have delivered a better result. All here at Team Fredericks are pleased to have another top ten performance.

The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials

Clayton and The Frog had a super time at The Mitsubishi Motors Badminton Horse Trials over the weekend. It was The Frog’s first time at Badminton, so owners, Kurt Baker and Michael Lee (The Hong Kong Boys) and Team Fredericks were eager to see how he performed.
 

During Dressage on Thursday there were unusual high winds for all riders, but The Frog mustered on and produced the following:
