Sarah Louise Dale
York, Yorkshire
Sarah joined Team Fredericks in October 2006 having achieved an NVQ level 2 in equine studies from Bishop Burton College. At the end of her initial year with Team Fredericks she decided to stay for a second, only this time with a horse! Sarah has been given the ride on her Auntie’s horse ‘Eden’s Hope’, who is a rising six-year old that she hope's to compete her at intro and pre-novice level this season. Sarah wants to learn as much as at the end of the year she will be starting up her own business back in Yorkshire.
Emily Young-Jamieson
Emily joined Team Fredericks in September 2006 and decided to stay on for the season with a new horse, ‘Sandalford’. He is a six-year old and if all goes to plan she is hoping to do CCI* this season.

I have come to the Fredericks’ yard during my gap year after my A levels as I want to improve my riding skills. I have brought with me 'Vodka' my Russian horse who I have competed at pre-novice level, but want to progress further next year. I contacted the Fredericks because my dressage is diabolical and I know Clayton and Lucinda are the best team to get me into shape. I am a keen member of both the Cattistock Hunt and Pony Club.

After taking my GCSE’s, I moved to the Fredericks’ in July. My horse ‘Rocky’ will be following by the end of September. Choosing the Fredericks was easy for me, as I know this is where I will greatly improve my riding skills and knowledge. We have a great working team and have fun on a day-to-day basis. I am hoping to compete next season and progress as much as I can whilst I am here.

I have recently moved to the Fredericks’ after finishing my A levels. I decided to follow my dream of working at an event yard, and this is one of the best. I want to learn from Team Fredericks and improve my riding skills and horse manage-ment. I hope to successfully compete my horse next year and whilst enjoying myself here.

I have recently moved to base myself with Clayton and Lucinda to support them with their riding and day to day tasks of their eventing yard. I have competed internationally, produced many young horses, studied at univeristy and run my own yard. I have the ride on a promising young horse called 'Kuwaits Endeavour' and my own horse 'Bourne Oudini' whom i hope to compete next season at CCI **. My aspirations whilst working at Team Fredericks are to further my riding career and provide vaulable support to both Lucinda and Clayton.
