She says, “I was introduced to Lucinda and Clayton many years ago by mutual friends who had moved to Wiltshire from London. At the time I had a horse stabled in Surrey, but he was off work, so I then started riding out for Lucinda and Clayton and when my horse then sadly had to be put down, I carried on spending weekends with them, thoroughly enjoying riding out on Salisbury Plain, schooling horses and helping with fitness work. Having evented for many years, I decided to go down the ownership route with Lucinda and Clayton as realistically I can't work full time and then expect to compete at weekends and to do as well as I would have liked. The obvious compromise to me was to have horses with Lucinda and Clayton, ride at weekends, and then enjoy supporting them at competitions, both in the UK and also in Europe, hopefully watching the horses move up through the ranks.”
